Pictures and clips, Sumy

I'll have to add captions later. Our taxi is here. The clips wouldn't download of the Sumy kids, just still pictures. I'll add clips later.

  1. Oh Lori, what an adventure you are having! There are much better apartment buildings in Sumy, clean with running water accross from restaurants and we also stayed in a a fairly nice hotel that was close to the school. It was so great to see the cute pictures of the kids! I hope your ankle is O.K., there is so much walking to do. We are praying for you!

  2. Wow. Those bedrooms are something else but I thought the plants in the bathrooms were a nice touch.
A picture says a thousand words but I'll be can't wait to get a few more words from you about your adventure!
Glad to know you're still okay!

  3. Hi Lori
I am enjoying all your postings. Your daughter is wonderful! The school looks acceptable. Sumy sounds Much nicer than Rivne . God Bless you both. Kate in Phoenix (still waiting for my SDA invitation)

  4. It was wonderful to see all the kids again via your pictures; your daughter is absolutely beautiful. I hope your ankle feels better! What a bummer. I loved seeing the temple too.

  5. You might want to get in touch with the Sopers. The apt they are in is much nicer.

The pictures are great. It is interesting to see everyone's blogs and see how different the conditions are of each orphanage. Sumy seems to be one of the nicer ones.

Take case of your foot. We were so sorry to hear about that. There are public and private hospitals - your insurance might cover you in a private hospital if you need to go. After what the Bunch's went through, a public hospital doesn't come sounds like a place to be.

Thanks for being so diligent with your blog. The pictures and your words help so many people see what it will be like for them. God bless you all!

  6. Hi Lori & Michael. I just tried posting a comment and it didn't save, so I'll try again. Sounds like the two of you are having quite the adventure. I'm sure you'll have some stories to tell when you get home. Amy and I had lots of fun and memorable experiences, 8 hr smokey train rides, car rides reminiscent of the wild mouse at lagoon, and many others. You'll be in our prayers. Good luck and we'll see you soon!
