Utah Symphony and fireworks at Taylorsville Dayzz. It was a great family crowd, much different than the night before.

Funnel cake. Hey family, does funnel cake remind you of our vacation in Florida, where Eric consumed funnel cakes every day???

A little spin in the Viper. (No, this is not our car.) This is in Logan, the day after the Logan fireworks. It took us an hour and a half to go from Brian and Susan's to Mom and Dad's after the fireworks. The traffic was terrible.

Back at our house and goofing off Sunday night.

On Monday Michael took the boys to Taylorsville Pool to give them a few pointers. They're both on the swim team this year. The place was nearly deserted. We had the place almost to ourselves.

Eating popsicles and waiting for fireworks.

Zack's parents were in town. They came for several days and helped Marissa and Zack do "fixes" on their house.

With the loosening of Utah laws this year regarding fireworks, I think the whole state went crazy. It literally sounded like a war zone every night for four nights. Standing in our driveway, you could see dozens of surrounding neighborhoods having firework parties. Our neighbor put on a two-hour display for a group of families, and another neighbor down the street was competing. It was great fun.
